But for Hilary Krejcha at Millers Flowers, which has routinely been named the Best Flower Shop by voters in the Best of Racine County contest, the answer is pretty simple: just treat every customer as your best customer. A co-owner of the business, Krejcha has been working at the shop for 45 years. “We always bend over backwards to make sure we can get in what they want, design it beautifully, and make sure it gets there on time,” she said. “It is basically, the quality, artistry and service.” Krejcha also credits what she calls “tremendous wholesalers” for the store’s continued success, noting that the superior plants and cut flowers they provide allow the shop and its designers to concentrate on what they do best.
