Alison Weinroth has no issues with her kids whizzing down the street on the new hoverboards they received for Hanukkah.
Her 11-year-old twins, Kasey and Trey Shaw, weren't alone in asking for the motorized, self-balancing, two-wheel scooter — one of the most popular holiday gifts this season.
The product, available from several manufacturers, is powered by a lithium battery, and requires riders to steer and control the board using only their feet.

CHERRY HILL - Standing 6 feet and weighing 200 pounds, Kurt Fritzsche knows in order to be the best, he has to beat the best.
Or in this case, he has to eat the best.
The Cherry Hill man will be competing in SportsRadio 94WIP's Wing Bowl 24: "Game of Bones" Friday morning at Wells Fargo Center. The event pits competitive eaters against each other in a chicken wing-eating contest.
The 40-year-old was the first to advance into the competitive eating competition that has become an annual tradition in the Philly area.
In July, Fritzsche entered an eating stunt at the Amish Market in North Wildwood for a chance to advance into Wing Bowl 24.

CHERRY HILL – Eve Elliott has a makeshift studio inside a spare bedroom in her home.
Each morning, she begins her day doing vocal exercises, warming up her mouth for a long day of work before sitting in front of a microphone and setting up to record.
Her mouth does all the work in her line of business.
"You have to get your mouth moving because in the morning, you just aren't there yet," Elliott said.
She begins to warm up.
"The lips, the teeth, the tip of the tongue, the hard palate, the soft palate and where the hard and soft palate meet," she whispers to herself, practicing an old tongue twister exercise she learned years ago.
She takes a script from the top of a stack to begin a busy day of work of reading copy for one of her newest clients, B... http://www.courierpostonline.com/story/news/2016/01/07/see-face-behind-popular-new-jersey-voice-talent/78253024/
