See three Square exhibits before they're gone
Dec 30, 2018A lifelong artist, Renander attended junior high and high school in Great Falls and graduated from the University of Montana. After primarily painting throughout college, an internship in Idaho started her on the path toward working with glass.
Renander often makes templates using photographs, turning them into stencils and minimizing the design so that it translates clearly into her medium. Etching and sandblasting adds texture, and additional materials such as glass paint and copper foiled stained glass help give her trees a unique finished look.
Currently, Renander spends most of her time on commissioned work for homes and commercial spaces. Her exhibit at the Square runs through February.

Olson also owns Diversified Mortgage and relocated that business to the same building.

“We have a lot more room in the new location, with more space for expanded inventory,” Olson said. “The florist design counter is now out in the retail area, so the floral designers are working where everyone can see them, which is pretty cool.”
