James Buddy Silvers

States Navy. Mr. Silvers was a member of the Wm. Shields American Legion Post #43 and the Warwick Wanderers. He was the loving father of Lynn A. Sumner (Carey), Gary D. Silvers (Patricia), and the late James Allen Silvers; brother of Virginia Albright, Shirley Silvers, and the late Ralph, Paris, and Rush Shelton. Mr. Silvers is also survived by six grandchildren, including Lauren, Katie, and Ashley, and four great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a service to follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors in Rhode Island Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.
