Wanda Lucille (Johnson) Collins-Boone, 87, of Anderson died Jan. 14, 2022, at Community Hospital after a brief illness. She was born Jan. 8, 1935, in Tunnel Ridge, Kentucky, the daughter of Sam and Eva (Gibson) Johnson. She was head bookkeeper at Marsh Supermarkets on Broadway and was a realtor for Lucas Realty Co. in Kosciusko County for 20 years. Students bring flowers, wear purple in honor of Daniel Boone athlete killed in crash
Sep 14, 2018GRAY, TN (WJHL) – Daniel Boone High School told News Channel 11 extra grief counselors are on hand today to help students and faculty cope with losing a student-athlete in a crash over the weekend in Morristown.

On Sunday, hundreds of students and community members gathered to remember 16-year-old Kaylee Rabun.
We’ve learned a memorial and dedication for Kaylee will take place this Friday before Daniel Boone’s football game.
Monday morning, students gathered around the flag pole for a moment of silence and placed flowers in honor of Kaylee. Students are also wearing Kaylee’s favorite color, purple, in her honor.
Ryan Sanders, another Daniel Boon student, was also injured in the Saturday crash on Interstate 81 in Morristown.
He is listed in stable condition.

Mourning the loss of the late Louis Salmon
Feb 3, 2018Vandalia has changed forever after the recent passing of Vandalia’s Louis Salmon.Salmon, age 66, passed away on Friday, January 15 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.A service was held on Saturday, January 23 at Waters Funeral Home in Vandalia.Salmon operated “Salmon Signs” and was a fixture for many years sitting in his car promoting his sign business and selling signs just off Main St.Flowers have been placed on his car which has been parked on the corner as a memorial in his honor.Flowers were also placed on a bench sign he painted near a front door located at the County Market in Vandalia.His many signs are still on display throughout town.
